Library Information

The Library is located at the 2nd floor Right corner of the building . The library divided in a various section such as: Property Counter, Circulation section, Digital Library, Newspapers Section etc. Library has collection of books, journals, magazines, newspapers.  Library also maintains separate collection of Reference Books,  Volumes of journals, Project Reports. The entire collection has been classified as per the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. The library has open access i.e. the students are allowed to enter the book stack and select the required one. The students can also avail  Reading Room facility . Library uses KOHA ( Library Automation Software) with barcode technology. The library is availble from 10.00 AM to 5.00PM throughout the Academic Year except Sunday  & Holidays. Library has various users like Students , Staff Members, Visiting Faculty, Departmental Staff ,etc.

Library Rules

1. All the Student shall sign in the gate register at the entrance of the library.
2. Deposit Your Personal belonging at the property counter.
3. Switch off mobile phones or to Keep on silent mode in the library Premises.
4. The Reader shall keep Silence within the Library Premises.
5. Reader are not allowed to borrow books on the card of another reader.
6. Reference books and Current Periodical will not issued to any student. These can be read only in the Library room.
7. Marking, Underlining or Writing on library books is strictly forbidden.
8. In case if lost books/Library card it should be reported immediately in Writing to the Librarian.
9. The librarian May Call for books at any time, even if the normal period of loan has not expired.
10. All Reader are required to maintain discipline in the Library.
